Project Dragon Season 2 Returns, Introducing Key Updates
Project Dragon, the online multiplayer experience from Otherside, is set to return for its second season on November 23 at 12 PM ET.
This season brings significant updates, including the introduction of playable 3D Koda avatars, a new tank class, and adjustments to team dynamics through updated rules.
These updates will expand gameplay options and refine the balance of the in-game experience.
What’s new in Season 2?
Season 2 introduces 3D Koda avatars as fully playable characters. Kodas will be available in a new tank class, allowing players to take on a defensive role by absorbing damage and protecting teammates during battles allowing for new strategic possibilities for team coordination.
The team also plans to introduce “(club)house rules” aimed at rebalancing team dynamics. Whilst specific details have not been shared, these changes are expected to address gameplay balance and team structure.
The announcement of Season 2 comes on the heels of the Bubbles public test run held on November 15 where players engaged in live discussions and provided feedback on gameplay through sessions hosted by Otherside.
What’s next to Project Dragon?
Following Season 2, Project Dragon will shift its focus to in Season 3 and introduce the battle for Nexus—the Kodas’ homeworld.
This storyline is expected to explore the origins of the Kodas and their place within the Otherside universe, whilst potentially introducing larger-scale gameplay and new challenges.
Further details about Season 3 are yet to be announced.
