Engines of Fury Begins ‘The Antigen’ with 25K $FURY Reward Pool

Top-down extraction shooter Engines of Fury has launched its first major play-test event, The Antigen, running from October 24 to 30.

This event gives players the opportunity to engage in competitive PvP combat and battle for a share of the 25,000 $FURY reward pool.

The playtest is designed to assess the core mechanics of the game as it approaches its official release, with feedback from players expected to play a key role in refining the final product.

What is The Antigen?

The Antigen playtest takes place in a dystopian setting where players are tasked with recovering antigen vials from a derailed train.

The vials hold significant importance in the game’s storyline, and participants must deliver them to the Council of Stoneport whilst dealing with other players and AI-controlled enemies.

The event allows up to eight players to join each map, where they must fight one another to secure the vials, collect loot, and fend off monsters.

How do you play the game?

The primary focus of the event is on competitive PvP combat where players will collect antigen vials scattered across the map, with the ultimate goal of delivering them whilst surviving against both human opponents and in-game threats.

Players need to balance looting with surviving, as limited resources and constant threats from other players and AI enemies force participants to make strategic decisions.

Securing the vials and managing health and inventory are key to climbing the leaderboard.
