Sei Foundation Partners with Gitcoin to Launch $10M Creator Fund

The Sei Foundation has recently announced its partnership with Gitcoin to introduce the Sei Creator Fund, an initiative aimed at supporting creators and builders in the Sei ecosystem.

With an allocation of $10M, the fund is intended to fuel the development of new projects and bolster the expansion of existing endeavors within the Sei community, focusing on its NFTs and social platforms.

The Sei Creator Fund seeks to empower creators across various domains, including collections, applications, infrastructure, content creation, and real-world events and projects at any stage of development are eligible to apply for funding.

How to apply for a grant?

The application process is divided into two phases:

Phase 1 involves direct applications to the Sei Foundation through a provided form on their website.
Phase 2 will implement a community-directed funding approach in collaboration with Gitcoin.

This will enable Sei community members to participate in the allocation of grants through voting mechanisms. By allowing community members to play a role in resource allocation, Sei seeks to foster inclusivity and diversity of projects.

The Sei Creator Fund opens an opportunity for creators, builders, and innovators to receive support and collaboration within the Sei ecosystem and interested individuals are encouraged to engage and contribute to the continued growth and development of the its community.
