Ubunation Launches NFT Auction to Build Kenyan School

Web3 charity organization Ubunation has partnered with UNDER Leas TRUST, a Nairobi-based primary school project, to initiate an auction aimed at building a school in Kenya.

The campaign, named the ULT Dream Career Lion Charity Collection, will feature the auction of 10,000 lion-themed NFTs, each accompanied by digital artworks portraying Kenya’s national animal.

Donors will have the opportunity to purchase these limited-edition digital collectibles at a fixed price of $20 each.

Accessible Education to Kenyan Children

The proceeds from the auction will contribute towards the project’s goal of raising $200,000 for the construction of the school.

Heissam Hartmann, Founder of Treat Yourself Ubunation, expressed optimism about the campaign’s potential impact, stating: “Through this campaign, we are not just creating a collectible; we are building dreams and paving the way for a brighter future for the children of Nairobi. This is a testament to what we can achieve when technology meets compassion and collective action.”

Lea Kabitzsch, founder of UNDER Lea’s TRUST, also highlighted the importance of education in the initiative, saying: “With every NFT sold, we move one step closer to turning the dream of accessible education for all into a reality in Nairobi. This school is not just a building; it’s a beacon of hope and opportunity for countless children.”
