Ubisoft is joining forces with the Ethereum NFT card game ‘Cross the Ages’ to introduce in-game cards inspired by its popular Watch Dogs series.
Announced recently on X, players can purchase cards featuring Watch Dogs characters in the continent of Artellium starting on April 3.
Despite limited information, the first trailer of the revamped title features Aiden Pearce, the vigilante hero from Cross the Ages’ inaugural game, which debuted in 2014.

Featuring a unique card-battling system and NFT trading cards minted on Immutable X for Ethereum scalability, Cross the Ages engages players through its profound strategic gameplay intricacies.

Ubisoft’s engagement with Cross the Ages — highlighted by a $12 million investment in March 2022 — underscores the gaming titan’s belief in the potential of NFTs to boost player engagement and ownership rights.
Though the gaming titan has already made strides in the blockchain gaming arena with ‘Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles‘, its alliance with Cross the Ages is set to expand its Web3 footprint.
